ALUMNI ADVICE

Just a couple years ago we were in your place.

My biggest advice I could give anyone coming to Texas Tech your first year is to make as many friends as you possibly can. Dorms? Yeah we all know they suck and are small, but this is where I met all my closest friends and any other alumni I talk to will agree. Make the most out of your college experience.

To current and future Red Raiders, I wish you all the luck for your upcoming college career. Four years may sound like a long time, but it will fly by in the blink of an eye. Don't always focus on your academics! Make friends and look forward to all the things you can do here in Lubbock. Go out and make memories!

Best advice for someone about to dive into the world of Texas Tech? Don't be afraid to say yes! Get out there, try something new and take advantage of every opportunity there is to have fun. College is about discovering who you are and making that person the best there is. Work hard and play hard. Finding a balance is what will make your college experience great.
